The OSK Family is thrilled to introduce Charles (Chuck) Lightner. Chuck brings with him an extraordinary passion for basketball, a sport he has been deeply involved in for most of his life. His journey in basketball began with a remarkable ten-year stint in AAU basketball, laying a strong foundation for his skills and understanding of the game.

Raised in Texas, a state known for its competitive sports environment, Chuck distinguished himself in high school, not only as a varsity basketball player but also on the football field, showcasing his versatility and athletic prowess. His dedication and talent in basketball led him to Angelo State University in Texas, where he made his mark as a walk-on for their D2 basketball team.

At Angelo State, Chuck exemplified the ideal student-athlete. He balanced his rigorous sports schedule with academic commitments, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance with a Minor in Mathematics. This academic achievement speaks volumes about his discipline, intelligence, and ability to manage multiple responsibilities.

Chuck’s deep understanding of basketball, combined with his educational background, makes him a unique asset to our organization. He is not just a coach; he is a mentor who approaches the game with a blend of tactical knowledge ensuring that our players not only excel on the court but are also prepared for life’s challenges.

Meet Coach Chelsea

The OSK Family is thrilled to introduce Coach Chelsea Delfino! With a lifelong passion for sports, particularly basketball, Chelsea has been deeply involved in competitive sports from a young age. She excelled in basketball, playing at the varsity level throughout her high school career. Her commitment to the game extends beyond the court as she took on roles as a coach, referee, and skills & drills assistant at both middle and high school level(s). She has also ran one-on-one skills and fundamentals training sessions, and run after school basketball programs for a nonprofit organization, sharing her passion and knowledge of the sport with students from grades one through eight.

Most recently, she successfully coordinated the summer youth basketball league for the town of Coventry, RI, ensuring a positive and engaging experience for all participants. Coach Chelsea is currently completing her Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management at Johnson & Wales University, where she has deepened her understanding of sports fundamentals, analytics, coaching strategies, and leadership. Her approach is guided by the belief that results are a direct reflection of the hard work and dedication invested, both on, and off the basketball court.
